I purchased this 2007 Ninja 250R ( EX250 ) from the 2nd owner on April 5, 2010. With only 230 original miles (370 km) when purchased, it is in showroom-new condition. As is my style, I will be leaving the Ninja 250 in original condition and will not be modifying it in any way - no custom paint, aftermarket exhaust systems, rear fender eliminators, engine modifications, flush-mount turn signals, etc.
Often times considered an entry-level machine for new riders, the EX250 is a competent machine that can provide experienced riders with a reminder of how enjoyable a small, lightweight streetbike can be.
Purchased as sort of a "project" bike, I performed a rehabilitation on the Ninja 250 which included:
Current mileage on the Ninja is approximately 3200 (5152 km). It is performing nicely and is a pleasure to ride with a smooth running engine, precise carburetion, excellent clutch and gearbox operation and very good performance for a 250cc machine. It is pictured above at an elevation of approximately 11900ft (3627 meters) on Colorado Route 5 west of Denver, Colorado.
For more information on this fine Kawasaki model visit the Ninja 250 Rider's Club or Ninjette.org. Both sites have a wealth of information on the Ninja 250R / EX250 / GPX250 series as well as an active rider's forum.
